Terms of Service

These terms are between you and VeloTech LLC ("we", "us"), 1309 Coffeen Ave, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, which operates ShareMail. By creating a workspace you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

What we provide

ShareMail is a shared-inbox layer on top of Google's Gmail: internal comments, assignments, shared drafts, rules, templates and search across a connected inbox. We do not deliver or store your email as a system of record; Google does, and that does not change while you use us.

Because we sit on Gmail, a Gmail or Google Workspace account is required, and a Google outage or a change to Google's APIs can affect ShareMail. We will tell you when that happens. Your use of Gmail through ShareMail is also subject to Google's own terms, and our handling of the data Google gives us follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, as set out in the privacy policy.

Some features are off until an admin turns them on, such as third-party integrations. Turning one on means you accept the data flow the privacy policy describes for it, and you are responsible for having the authority to do so for the inbox in question.

Your account

• You are responsible for what your teammates do in your workspace, and for keeping your Google account secure. ShareMail has no password of its own, so your Google security is our security.
• Do not use ShareMail to send unsolicited bulk mail, anything unlawful, or anything that violates Google's terms. That is the one thing that gets an account suspended without notice.
• You need the authority to connect any inbox you connect. If it is a shared company address, that means the company's permission.

Billing

• Prices are on the pricing page and are per active user per month. Every workspace starts with a 14-day trial, no card.
• Seats go down as easily as up, prorated, at any time. There is no minimum term on monthly plans and no auto-renewing annual contract you have to phone someone to escape.
• A failed payment gets a grace period and a read-only fallback, not a locked door between you and your customers.
• If we raise prices, existing workspaces keep their price for at least 12 months and get at least 30 days' notice, as promised on the pledge.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from Settings. Your mail is in Gmail and stays there, untouched. You can export everything ShareMail added, including after you cancel, and we will delete your workspace on request. We do not hold your data hostage to a renewal.

Your data

You own your content. We claim no rights over your mail, your comments or anything else you put into ShareMail, beyond the permission to process it in order to run the service for you. How that works in detail is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

Availability and support

We aim for the service to be up and fast, and we will be honest when it is not. A formal uptime SLA is part of the Business plan; on other plans we make no contractual availability guarantee, which is the normal arrangement and we would rather say so plainly than bury it.

Warranty and liability

ShareMail is provided as-is, without warranties beyond those the law requires and does not let us exclude. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using ShareMail at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or that puts the service or other customers at risk. Except where the law or the abuse itself makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot settle by talking to each other first goes to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and both of us agree to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you protections that cannot be waived, you keep them.

Changes

We will email workspace owners before any material change takes effect. The date at the top reflects the current version.
